S4 wins the 1/4 mile drag event at Dubwars

The Avalon Motorsports/Torque Factory/STaSIS/GIAC team entered the Dubwar competition and show in order to compete head to head with many cars that were being touted on magazine covers and various forums on the web. On the event roster we had a 1/4 mile drag and a road course race. We had some serious competition from a number of cars:

HPA twin turbo R32 (600 hp)

EIP turbo r32 (620 claimed whp)

Revo K04 S4 (Custom Revo Software, splits and Duh FMIC)

Dahlback Super-Golf Bodied 5 cyl quattro (?????)

Audi2ptzero (2.0L, custom tuned GIAC, 350 whp, 3000lb B5 A4)

AMS Stage 5 Z/C K04 S4

Many, many other turbo'd, slicked, company owned cars there also.

The Audi's stepped up, but the "magazine power"/ newton-candle-metric-poodle-powered uber Volkswagens were all left on the sidelines by a two year old S4 with a lot of cool bolt on parts from AWE/GIAC/STaSIS and others.

Winning time at the drag was 12.00 at close to 110 degree track temps. A thanks to Ari/SFored for driving for us once again, and again taking us to first place!

Congrats to Norman Babcock of Denver for winning the Pro Class in ANOTHER S4 in the road race.
